Lund University was founded in 1666 shortly after the region of Skåneland came under the possession of Sweden. Today it is one of Scandinavia’s premier institutions for higher learning and consistently ranks among the top universities in both Europe and the world. With traditions going back centuries, Lund has also become a cultural hub synonymous with learning and discovery.
As 2016 draws to an end, Lund University will celebrate three and a half centuries of commitment to education and research with a series of lectures, symposia, social events, and more! In addition to this, scholarships will be offered to students from around the world so that those from outside Europe can explore all the opportunities that Lund University has to offer.
In order to be eligible to win a scholarship, you must also complete an application to one of Lund University’s Master's programmes. The programmes can be found on each subject area page here and instructions on how to apply can be found here. The application period is open from mid-October 2016 to 15 January 2017.
